Language & Culture in Gweedore
Gweedore is the heartland of the Donegal Gaeltacht, one of the main Irish Speaking areas in the country and as such the language plays a very important part in day-to-day life. The language is complemented by a rich cultural heritage in the area from Aisteoirí Ghaoth Dobhair to the many excellent musicians that have come from the parish.
